We measure and take off in detail and prepare bills of quantities in accordance with SMM7, NRM and the Highway Works Method of Measurement. Rates are built up from first principles, so the price can be interrogated line by line instead of taken on trust.
Tendering and procurement
We run the subcontract procurement process from enquiry through to appointment: scopes drafted properly, like for like comparisons, and commercial advice on which tender is genuinely the best value rather than simply the lowest.
Value engineering and risk
Where the budget and the design are pulling apart, we set out the options and what each one costs in performance as well as pounds. Design gap analysis identifies commercial and contractual risks early, while they are still cheap to fix.
